Description of trip:

We pick you up at the hotel and from there the road up to Santiago del Teide, where the walk starts at about 930 meters. The climb up to the Teno Mountains and the ascent which is about 300 meters, is almost all the first 2 km. Then we have a great view of the Teno mountain range and the Masca valley. If conditions allow, it is possible to go to the top of Pico Verde which is a further 80 meters uphill and the view is not worse from there. Then we walk down the mountain ridge towards Masca village where the walk ends and those who want to get some light tapas or walk around the village before heading back to Santiago del Teide by bus and back to the hotel.

The total mileage is 10 km and takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. The trip as a whole is about 6 hours.

Remember to bring along Take plenty of water. Hat. Sunscreen. Wear appropriate shoes!
